MAY 2021

Tramshed Project x London Jerk Festival

It’s time to buckle up Duppies, as we’ve got a sick collaboration at the end of May in one of our favourite spaces in East London: The Tramshed Project. Bringing Jamaican flair to Shoreditch, The Tramshed Project is launching an aptly named Sunday Jerk Roast, organised by jerk maestros The London Jerk Festival, alongside The Jamaican Tourist Board, Red Stripe and obviously us – name a summer party that wasn’t made great without rum?

The Venue

Housed in a former power station (think lofty ceilings, chic warehouse vibes) the Grade-II listed building is a work/play space for creatives, freelancers and small business owners. Open to everyone, these guys are about fostering a sense of community and bringing together the worlds of food, drink and entertainment. What better way to banish the lockdown blues by tuning into the world of jerk, rum, reggae and good vibes.

What to expect

These guys will be serving up a fiery three-course menu, curated by none other than the legends at Original Flava. Choose from chicken, pork or portobello mushroom, plus all your favourite Caribbean sides and a rum punch cocktail on arrival.

When: Every Sunday 12-6pm from May 30th to 15th August, at £60 per head
Where: The Tramshed Project, 32 Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3LX
Book here: www.tramshedproject.com

With good food and drinks guaranteed all day long, enjoy some banging tunes with live music and entertainment from Rompa’s Reggae Shack that will have you vibing all weekend.

Enjoy your food alfresco in the garden terrace, or inside their main hall and mezzanine area – even their library if you fancy a quiet spot. So, whether you’re working, eating, drinking or socialising, these guys have something for everyone.

Don't forget the London Jerk Festival is also going ahead on August 7th and 8th in Hackney Central so you can enjoy even more good times and rum love.

Be sure to check out these guys on their socials too @LondonJerkFest @TramShedProject @OriginalFlava @RompasReggaeShack @VisitJamaica @RedStripeUK and of course head to our Facebook and Instagram to keep posted @TheDuppyShare.
